ABOUT THE INTERNATIONAL FORUM ON MADAGASCAR MINING & PETROLEUM
Held Under the patronage of the Ministry near the Presidency in charge of Mines and Petroleum, the International Mining and Petroleum Forum took September 2015 in Antananarivo and represented the platform for The Malagasy President and Ministry near the Presidency of Mining and Petroleum to present Madagascar’s plan for the development of its extractive industries.
Currently in the process of updating the nation’s petroleum and mining codes to make them more attractive to international investors, Madagascar is on the brink of unlocking the potential of its extractive industries.
In September 2017, government officials and international stakeholders will gather once again in Antananarivo for the 2nd edition of the International Mining and Petroleum Forum and discuss how to exploit the Country extensive resources.
